Lost access to your 2FA? Do not open a ticket: follow the steps below. If none of them works, the account cannot be recovered.

We support every 2FA app, but keeping your 2FA codes safe is your responsibility.

1. Recovery file

When you enable 2FA on the TZ website, a recoveryphrase.json file is downloaded automatically. Use it to revoke your 2FA, even if you lost your codes.

2. Google Authenticator

Lost your phone or the app? Follow this video to recover your codes:

3. Apple authenticator

  1. Open the Passwords app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to the Codes section.
  3. Your codes are linked to your Apple ID, so they stay available even on a new device.

4. Other 2FA apps
